Oral calcium supplement and anti-ketogenic agent

To aid in the prevention and treatment of milk fever and ketosis in cattle. Also to supplement dietary calcium when a deficiency may occur.

FOR ORAL USE ONLY
Administer as a drench or mix in the drinking water or feed. Take care when drenching, particularly if the cow exhibits any sign of paralysis. Direct the neck of the bottle over the tongue towards the back of the throat and gradually squeeze the contents from the bottle to assist swallowing. Avoid accidental administration into the windpipe and lungs. 

Milk Fever - Prevention
In conjunction with intravenous calcium treatment: Administer one bottle (650 mL) as soon as the cow is able to stand and can swallow normally. Repeat the same dosage (650 mL) 10 - 12 hours later. 

Ketosis
Administer one bottle (650 mL) twice daily. 

General Calcium Supplementation
Give one bottle (650 mL) morning and night for two days. 

Note: Avoid giving extra calcium daily to pregnant cows in the transition period (4 weeks before parturition) as this may predispose to milk fever. 

WITHHOLDING PERIOD
Milk and Meat Nil. 

STORAGE
Store below 30 °C (room temperature). Protect from light.
